Halloween 2008

This year for Halloween, Daniel was a fireman. Ever since he saw a fire up close last year in Midland, he has been obsessed with fires and firemen.
Here is Daddy with Daniel and Emily before we headed out
to go trick-or-treating.

Our little bee loved to grab the candy and then try to run away with it to where she could try and eat it in peace. I have decided that there are some definite advantages for having such warm weather this time of year. First off, you don't have to do any bundling up. Most of the houses out here decorated their garages and would sit outside and wait for the trick-or-treaters to come. It was great not having to ring a bunch of doorbells. I think we only rang two. It was great. After we did our own round of trick-or-treating, we sat outside our garage and waited for others to come. Emily really enjoyed walking around with a candy bar in each hand. She rode in the stroller while we were walking around and she was happy as can be holding a candy in each hand. When she was done chewing on one candy, she would throw it out of the stroller and move on to another one. We had a lot of fun this year.

Happy Birthday Emily. I can't believe she is already a year old. I love the bee costume - especially with the yellow skirt. She looks like a queen bee. Did you make that? I bet you did. YOu are so creative.
