Utah

Last week we went out to Utah for my brother David's wedding. The day we left Houston it was raining and it was nice in Utah. My brother got married on Wednesday and then had the reception on Friday. We had great weather all week with temperatures in the high 70's. It was a very busy week with us going constantly. We did make a trip to BYU, a must, and stocked up on BYU gear. We also made it to temple square to look around. It was a good trip and nice to see family again. Then on Saturday, the day before we went home, we got snowed on. Daniel was probably happy to see the snow. When we told him that we were going to Utah he was so excited to see snow. Then it kind of rained and snowed on us as we left Utah. It was all good though. It was really nice to see the mountains again and to know where everything was and to also know which direction is what!! I have the hardest time knowing directions without those mountains.
When we got home, we got a good two or three days of heavy rain with tornado warnings and also flood warnings. Our backyard turned into a pond but luckily it drained pretty good. The backyard is still pretty squishy. Maybe I can plant some fish back there...

Happy day yesterday, I got a treadmill!!!!! YAY!!!! Pictures to come later...

I just caught up on you guys! It sounds like you have been super busy. Daniel looks so cute playing baseball! Oh how fun.

Did all your plants get flooded out. :(

Glad you guys had a fun trip to Utah. We have been having the craziest weather!

You didn't stop by my house!?!?!?! Sheesh! It is ok, I had a cold too. I wouldn't have wanted to share mine either. Next time you come to town you need to come visit us! We miss you all!

I can't tell which direction things are even with the mountains. I found the mountains in Utah confusing. I grew up with the mountains to the west and only the west (and before that they were just in the east). In Utah there are mountains all over. How is that even helpful? ;P

I remember it at being the lake is west, the big mountains (read closer) is east, the one mountains opening up are north and the other mountains opening up is south. Not confusing at all;P (Sarcastic)
