Yummy beetles

This morning as we were getting ready for church, I went in to the living room to get Emily so that I could get her dressed when I noticed that she had something in her mouth. I pulled it out and it moved so I screamed and dropped it. There on the floor was a red beetle walking around. How Emily even got hold of the thing to put it in her mouth I have no idea but I was completely grossed out. Needless to say she got her mouth washed out with Daniel's flouride free toothpaste. I'll be watching more carefully to make sure that no more bugs go in her mouth.
