The day before yesterday Emily woke up with yet another diaper rash to we got to go to the doctors to find out why she keeps getting diaper rashes. She got one a few days after she was born and it stayed for 2 months and nothing we did helped it. We tried diaper rash cream, baby powder, cloth diapers, washcloths instead of wipes and nothing helped until Emily stayed a few days at Mike's grandma's house. An aunt of Mike's had prescription strength diaper rash cream and it worked to get rid of it! Then all we had to do was keep regular diaper rash cream on her to keep it away. Well, it came back and she just has very sensitive skin. She's 13 lbs 14 oz (fully dressed and with a diaper) and in the 8th percentile for weight. She's 23 1/2 inches long and head circumference is 15 1/2 inches. She's below 3rd percentile for those but it seill looks good to me! Daniel was in the 0 percentile for a couple of years so these numbers look great!
Emily is getting around the floor more and more and today she pulled herself up to standing!! My baby is trying to grow up! Daniel tells me that we have to go to the doctor's office soon so that he can play there.

She'll grow out of getting the diaper rash. Just keep diaper rash cream on her even if she doesn't have one.
That's too bad about the rash...no fun for anyone! Your kids are just adorable, by the way! I love reading about your family, and I love the quotes from Daniel! Thanks for the blog advice, too. Dan and I are doing great, just trying to get through til he graduates!
